Review: Avon Simply Pretty Colorbliss Lipstick in Wine and Dine

I got my very first makeup from Avon. Our neighbor is an Avon dealer so whenever she got a new brochure, she hands it over to us and let us check out if we (me and my mom) can find something that we like. Fortunately for me, I always find something worthy of buying. Either I choose a makeup or a skin care product. But I really mostly choose makeup.

Simply Pretty is a makeup line from Avon that is recommended for teens. They are more less intense than the adult makeup. I like the fact that they intend to cater to the makeup needs of teenagers.

I am so past my teenage years already (I know I still look like one) but I still want to try this Avon Simply Pretty Colorbliss Lipstick in Wine and Dine (P129.00).

What I like about this lipstick is that it tastes good. The taste is not strong though. It kinda tastes a little bit sweet. My youngest sister (16 years old) even liked it. 🙂 It also glides easily on the lips and the color is so buildable. I like the color as well, a light shade of red, as it’s perfect for everyday use. Not too loud yet not too nude. 🙂

Negative points. It doesn’t last that long especially when you eat. It’s kinda easy to melt so put it out of direct sunlight or avoid putting it in a warm place.

Another issue here is that, if you buy from Avon, you need to wait for days for your orders to arrive. It’s as if you are ordering online. Though you can also drop by Avon kiosks, but I rarely see them.

If I were to rate this product, I would give it a 4 out of 5. You should try this one too. There are a lot of shades as well. 🙂
