Review: Benefit Porefessional Primer

I’m really really sorry for not posting anything since Saturday. Our internet at home went crazy as it started to ask for something we didn’t know. Thank you PLDT for the hassle. :/ And I was busy yesterday setting up our company booth in the UP CAPES job fair. Today was some kind of a ‘day off’ from the job fair so I have the time to post something. πŸ™‚

Pro balm to minimize the appearance of pores

I started knowing Benefit just last year. I know I missed out a lot. :/ I super love Benefit cosmetics as the products are superb but I hate it because it’s pretty expensive. Anyway, I’m very willing to save up for it. I specially love their sets like the advent calendar that they released last December. Just to give you an overview on how awesome Benefit cosmetics are, I’ll be reviewing the Benefit Porefessional (P1800.00 – full size).

I never bought the full size because I have lots of sample size and up to now I haven’t emptied them. So one advantage is a little amount goes a long way. Really. I think 2-3 squeeze from the tube are enough to cover my whole face.

The primer gave me a smooth finish. It felt kinda weird at first but I got used to it after. As seen in the photo above, the primer is dark brown, which I thought would tint on my face. Glad it becomes transparent when applied.

As for covering the pores, I can’t say much about it as I don’t have large pores. πŸ™‚ But I think this would really do good in covering pores. Lastly, this primer from Benefit really made my makeup intact for longer hours. It also lessened the oiliness of my face, thus preventing the smudging and creasing of makeup.

Again, the only thing I didn’t like so much about this is that it is quite expensive. Other than that, I super love this one. If I were to rate this, I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would definitely want to have more Benefit products and try them out. πŸ™‚

How’s your experience with Benefit?

  1. I normally love benefit products. I love their blushes and l love their bronzer but unfortunately porefessional primer worked awfully with my skin! I broke out and got so oily!!! I ended up switching to maybellines baby skin and love it! It’s half the price and works much better with my skin.

  2. I have a few samples too! *thank you samples* I think I still have around 2-3 that will last me for months then I’ve already saved moolah for the full size! πŸ˜€ I have large pores and this works pretty amazing on hiding them! πŸ˜€
