Remember the BDJ Passion Series that I’ve attended? I won a 3-class pass to the BDJ Bootcamp. I also won a 1-class pass from Ms. Rochelle Rivera of www.rochellerivera.com. Pretty lucky right? So I was really excited for the event to come!
Last Sunday, June 7 I headed on to Blue Leaf Filipinas for the first ever BDJ Beauty Bootcamp. For the location, it’s beside City of Dreams. So the bootcamp was composed of workshops, for those who paid P500 or P750, and the BDJ Fair, where lots of booths are present.
The Blue Leaf Filipinas, super pretty right? 🙂
My first workshop is scheduled at 10 am. I was 5 minutes late because I am not familiar with the venue and I just commuted. My first workshop was with Status Hair Salon. They demonstrated the best bridal upstyling. I’ve learned that it’s best to refer to the face shape to get the best style. 🙂 Too bad they only chose participants with long hair.

My next workshop was with Revlon! This is my most favorite among all because it’s about nail art! 😀 Miss Paula Pangan taught us the basic nail art designs. 🙂 She did her nail art on the spot which is so awesome. Even her presentation is so amazing as well.
Ms. Paula sharing with us how she started doing nail art!
Polka dots, first nail art challenge
Final challenge is to have the #ForeverSummer theme. Since I’m craving for watermelon, I thought of doing this! Not much of a watermelon though since the nail polish colors are limited.

After that workshop, my buddy (Rhealeen) and I went out for lunch. We headed back to the venue to check the booths inside the BDJ Fair.
There were lots of brands on sale that day! It was so overwhelming. But I only got to buy something from Ellana because I have lots of stuff to bring na. They’re so heavy.
Below are some of the booths we visited.
The super cool sample booth of Too Cool for School. We were given free samples upon submission of our BDJ pamphlet.
Rhealeen tried out the free skin analysis from Pond’s.
Got to be a cover girl for a day with Hola Magazine.
Post a picture on Instagram and tag ETC for an instant prize.
Same as with ETC, you just need to post a picture on Instagram and tag 2ndAvenue for instant prizes.
Bought this brush cleaner for just P280.00 instead of P400.00! Such a great deal. They gave me a free sample too.
Then goes my third workshop with L’Oreal Paris. The beauty gurus showed us the perfect day makeup using L’Oreal products.

We got to try Revitalift Magic Blur too! Super love the formulation.
For the last workshop, I chose the Canmake Tokyo Pop. I so love Canmake products and it was a pleasure playing and testing their other makeup products during the workshop. 🙂

We got to take home these super cute stationeries! Thanks Canmake. 🙂
The workshop ended at 6 pm, so I decided to go home already. So below are the things I got from the event. 🙂
Certificates from the workshop!
2nd Avenue merchandise as a prize for the raffle.
Igloo lunch bag from ETC
Loot bag from the workshop
Freebies from Revlon, Bioderma and Too Cool for School
I would definitely attend the next Beauty Bootcamp. You girls ahould attend too! But I hope the venue would be a bit near like in Makati or Ortigas. 🙂
Thank you Canon for this photo!
