As I write this post, I wanted to go straight to Mad Mark’s and eat. Why? Because everything is delicious, well I haven’t eaten everything from the menu but you know what I mean right? Haha. So let me show you what made me like Mad Mark’s so much.
We’ve been to Mad Mark’s twice, first in Glorietta 5 then next in BGC Central Square. I only included what we ordered in Glorietta 5 as I forgot to take pictures. The Central Square branch is larger than the Glorietta Branch by the way.
Anyway, so first we ordered Johnnie Double Black Ribs (P305.00) with rice and smashed potato as sides (yes smashed potato). This is the best! Definitely one of the best sellers. The meat is so tender, the sauce has the right mixture of spices. The BBQ taste is so satisfying. The serving is so large too that it can be shared by 2 people! And the price is so cheap, one of the cheapest delicious ribs that I know.
Next, we ordered Creole Grilled Chicken (P245.00) with rice and bacon potato salad as sides. This one’s super delicious too! The chicken is grilled just right, topped with some spices. The sauce that came with it has the right amount of spiciness, saltiness and sweetness. And this dish is affordable as well considering its quality and amount of serving.
For dessert, we ordered a scoop of Chocolate on Chocolate (P68.00) ice cream. It was the best.ice cream.ever!!! Haha. Well, that’s an exaggeration but it is definitely one of the best. It isn’t too sweet. The chocolate syrup added a right amount of sweetness to the chocolate flavored ice cream. If we were not that full from the main dishes, we would have eaten more of this! It did not melt easily too.
The only thing that seemed off is the menu. It looked as if they just printed it, attached in a clip board and gave it to you. But anyway, the food is amazing. 🙂
Definitely giving Mad Mark’s a 5 out of 5 (in spite of the menu)! This is one of the few restaurants that I can’t wait to go back to. 😀 Our visit to the Central Square branch is also satisfying.
Oh, before I forget, Mad Mark’s branches have different sets of menu so if you’re looking for a specific dish, better search it on the internet first. 🙂
Thanks for reading this post! 🙂
Wow…never thought they already had a branch at Central Square! I’ve only been to the Glorietta 5, Kapitolyo, and UP Town Center branches though. 😦
